what can I sing of?
so early in the morning
of the birth of the sun

but are a spontaneous chorus

In 1998 I went on a Quest to Big Bend, Texas. There, the Spirit Raven told me to quit my job, sell all I owned & go on the road; that I would be taken care of & receive a multitude of blessings to share with others. All I needed to do was let go of self & have faith.
I did!
This incredible journey took me some 70,000 miles & eventually settled me in the Rio Grande Valley. Here, I put all the songs, words, images that I had have received, am receiving, and will receive, to paper; published 3 books (a 4th on the way) & opened a photo gallery as an outlet for images (unfortunately, the gallery is no longer in existence).
I record songs, shoot & print professional photographs, & look for any means to share these gifts I've been given. Hence, this blog.
Two of my books are of short stories, most coming through the Spirit Coyote, as he has been the most vocal. These are fun, hopefully entertaining, thought-provoking tales, often simple, sometimes complicated; touching on ethics, spirituality, culture, metaphysics, whatever whichever Spirit Animal wanted to say at the time. Many of the stories have been filtered through me, my times & experience, but by no means all of them. Some of the books are illustrated with my own photographs.
The other book (& upcoming volume) is a compilation of poetry, running through the years of my life, following my transitions, concerns & observations, from there to here.
